SCRIBBLE LINE COLOUR EQUALS PORTRAIT ART WORKSHOP

Hello Art Friends, welcome!

In this module we are going to investigate and play with self-portraiture.  We will explore our faces and materials in a fun way resulting with dramatic outcomes. We will combine our new drawing and painting skills to build art knowledge and confidence. Lessons are for beginners to more advanced, which means for everyone! I do hope you will join me for Scribble Line Colour Equals Portrait!

Lesson 1 Scribble Portrait Let’s begin with loosening up with scribbling techniques.

Lesson 2 Line Portrait The focus is all on line and using it to describe our faces.

Lesson 3 Colour Play Let’s use our water colours to loosely create an open face on the mineral paper.

Lesson 4 Colour and Line In this lesson we will extend our previous lesson and use our water colour painting to draw into by adding line.

Lesson 5 Scribble Line Colour Portrait Using all techniques we have learnt, we will now combine and play to create our finished pieces.

Level Definition.

No artistic skill is assumed in all of our lessons. All modules are suitable for clients to work with a facilitator.

1. Basic skills. Some may need direction. Be able to hold a brush or pen. Able to follow simple instructions.

2. Building on Basics. Able to create simple shapes and patterns. Maintain concentration for a longer period.

3. Capable. Follow simple instructions independently.

4.Competant. Independent worker able to try new challenges
